What'sNew
Since 1955 Rolling Hills Country Club has provided affordable access to the great game of golf. While we have been here for over half a century the club and course continue to improve every year.
In the beginning Rolling Hills was a nine hole course with sand greens. Of course bent grass greens came in the 60's. The back nine and much of the irrigation and a few ponds were added in 1991. The driving range and redesign of hole one was finished in 2001. A new cart storage building and new swimming pool were completed in 2002. A new clubhouse was finished and in 2004. We purchased the Storage Complex for additional Private Cart storage in 2005. In 2006 we started converting our fairways to Zoysia from Bermuda. Through that time and with all those improvements we have stayed the least expensive course in the Lake Area. But, our goal is not to be cheap. It is to be the best value and we have succeeded by always providing wonderful greens, a challenging but playable layout and a great pace of play. MeetThe Pro
Our Head Golf Professional and General Manager is Steve Nolawski. Steve came to RHCC in 2001 from Lake Valley Country Club where he was the Head Golf Professional for five years. Steve is a member of the PGA of America and was an Honorable Mention All-American at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where he earned a degree in Finance.
At a club like Rolling Hills our GM and Head Professional has to wear many hats, you may have the pleasure of taking a lesson from Steve or see him running one of our leagues or tournaments. Not to mention he also prepares many of our banquet meals for tournaments, outing, wedding and couples leagues. There is also a fairly good chance he will answer the phone when you call in for a tee time or to sign up for an event. Give Steve a call to find out more about Rolling Hills. |

About Rolling Hills
Rolling Hills Country Club is a Member Owned Semi-Private club that is open to the public. We feature an 18 hole golf course that is over 6500 yards from the longest of four sets of tees. The course plays to a par of 71. Unique to the area our course is played over gently rolling terrain that makes it a great course to walk and is often more playable for Senior and Kids. While nobody would classify the course as a monster, it still provides more than enough challenges with three lakes, several bunkers, native grass hazards bordering most holes and some of the smoothest and most challenging greens you will play. The Club also has a natural grass driving range and practice green located directly in front of the proshop. The proshop is stocked with a great selection of shoes, golf balls, club and clothing. Of course, Rolling Hills, is always willing to host events, big or small. Rolling Hills is simply put a wonderful small town country club. We hope you will take the time to stop by and enjoy our golf course. |
